THE AUCKLAND DEPOSIT AND INVESTMENT CO.
The Auckland Deposit and Investment Company have just opened an establishment in Queen street (next Waverley Hotel), and attention is drawn to their advertisement which appears in this issue. Mr. Mathias, well-known in sporting circles, .is managing director, while Mr. A. Woolley is manager. The policy of the company’s business is to lend money upon all articles of jewellery, plate, precious stones, life policies, etc., and our plate, precious stones, etc., and our country readers are invited to communicate with the firm by letter, which is, of course, absolutely confidential. To the business man or farmer who desires a small loan at a nominal rate of interest, the company are prepared to advance money upon approved security. At the present time, owing to the stringency ot the money market, the opportunities offered by the Auckland Deposit and Investment Company will be appreciated, the greatest secrecy being observed in all transactions. A firstclass stock of jewellery is on view in the windows of this establishment, many bargains being procurable, while repairs are carried out at a moderate price.
