The annual meeting of the Kawakawa Racing Club will be held on January 17tn, and for the first t.me in its history the totalisator will be used, and the North Auckland settlers are look.ng forward to the meeting with pleasurable anticipat’ons. The Kawakawa Cup Handicap is worth BOsovs, and is run over a distance of a nine and a-quarter.; the Railway Plate _s worth 40sovs., the Fly ng 20sovs., and there is a Maiden Handicap and also a Hack Handicap.
