To which the Attention of Persons Entering Horses is Particularly Directed. All Entries, Nom nations, etc., will close at the Secretary’s Office. Stratford, at 9 p.m. Telegraph Office closes at 8 p.m. All Entries to be sealed and addressed to the Secretary, Stratford Racing Club, entrance money enclosed, with the name, age at time of entry, name o-f owner, pedigree, colours of rider, name of trainer, and in case of handicaps, performances of the horse. Printed forms of entry will be forwarded on application to the Secretary. Entries telegraphed must be confirmed in writing as soon as possible, or owners are liable to a fine of £2 (Rule XVI. 4). AH persons intending to withdraw horses are requ'red to give notice to the Secretary or Clerk of Scales one half-hour before the official time of starting the race. Any person neglecting or refusing to comply with this rule shall pay a fine, to be imposed by the Stewards, of not less than £1 nor more than £2O (Rule XXIV. 4). All races to be run under the New

Zealand Rules of Racing. No entry will be received after the hour named under any pretence whatever. All horses walking over will receive 50 per cent, of the stakes. N.B.—The Committee reserves to itself the right of altering the dates of entries, handicaps, etc., should it deem fit to do so.
