MOTOR NOTES.

The armoured motor car is playing a bigger part in the war than most people in this part of the world are aware. Even Russia is largely using specially-built armoured cars, bad as the roads are in Poland and East Prussia. Most of these vehicles have been made in England. One order for forty-eight powerful armoured cars has already been delivered, and they have rendered great service in the firing line. It is estimated that, as the result of the war, over £4,000,000 worth of motor cars have been purchased in the United States by the Allies since August last.
