FORBURY PARK TROTTING CLUB. WINTER MEETING. The Forbury Park Trotting Club's winter meeting was opened on Wednesday. Light rain set in a little before ,mid-day, and early in the afternoon it increased to a steady downpour, making the track very sloppy. The totalisator handled £12,347, a decrease of £1240 as compared with the corresponding day last year. The meeting was concluded on Saturday in splendid weather. There was a very good attendance. The track was heavy as the result of recent rains, but it improved slightly as the day advanced. The totalisator investments were £21,604, as against £18,151 10s. on the second day of the last winter meeting, and the aggregate for the meeting was £34,951, compared with £31,739 last year.
