CANTERBURY TROTTING NOTES.
(By Telegraph — Christchurch Correspondent.) TUESDAY, February 17. After doing a successful stud season in the Taranaki district, the American-bred stallion Peralta has returned to his owner’s plhce at Spreydon. When being exercised at the Addington track a few days ago Bonification fell, and his trainer sustained a broken collarbone. The Bonification horse has been withdrawn from his engagements at the metropolitan meeting in consequence of the mishap.
