DE CISNEROS FAREWELL CONCERT.
That most brilliant of singers, Eleonora de Cisneros, will make her final appearance in New Zealand at the Town Hall to-night, when music lovers should welcome the opportunity of hearing once again such a worldfamed artiste. Supporting the diva are Mr Paul Dufault (tenor), Mr James Liebling (’cellist) and Mr Harold Whittle (accompanist). The
programme is a veritable feast of de- 1 licate morceaux. De Cisneros will sing “O don Fatale,” “Suicidio,” “Amore, Amore,” “Stanchen,” “The Rosary,” “Mother o’ Mine,” “Will o’ the Wisp,” etc., and a number of Irishairs. Mr Dufault’s numbers will include “Entreaty,” “The Trumpeter,” “How Many Thousand Years Ago,” “Mandoline” and others. Mr Liebling will also give a selection of his masterpieces.
