In the event of any horse entered with the Auckland Racing Club m either of the following races, viz.:-— Welcome Stakes, 1913, the Great Northern Foal Stakes, 1913-14, the 19th and 20th Royal Stakes, the Great Northern Champagne Stakes, 1914, the Great Northern Guineas, 1914, the 41st Great Northern Derby, 1914-15, the Great Northern Oaks, 1915, dying before the first forfeit becomes due, the owner shall not be liable for payment of forfeit, provided that he gives notice Jtnu supplies proof of death before the first forfeit becomes due. . SPRING MEETING, 1913. THE WELCOME STAKES, 1913, for now Yearlings, of 500sovs; second horse to receive lOOsovs, and third horse 50sovs out of the stake. Colts, 8.5; geldings, 8.2; fillies, 8.0. By subscription of ssovs each,- unless forfeit of Isov is declared and paid by 9 p.m. on General Entry Day, Spring Meeting, 1913. All horses remaining in after that date must pay the subscription of ssovs on a dav to be named shortly before the race. All forfeits go to make up or increase the stake. Entries close by 9 p.m. on Friday, 6th September, 1912. No money is required at time of nomination. Five furlongs. SUMMER MEETING, 1913-14. GREAT NORTHERN FOAL STAKES, 1913-14, for now Yearlings, of 1000 sovs; first horse to receive 600 soys, second horse 200sovs, and third horse lOOsovs out of the stake. The other lOOsovs to go to the breeder of the winner, provided that he be also the nominator. In the events of this condition not being fulfilled, the lOOsovs to go to the first horse. Colts, 8.10; geldings, 8.7; fillies, 8.5. By subscription of lOsovs each, unless, forfeit of lsov is declared and paid by 9 p.m. on General Entry Day, Summer Meeting, 1913-14. All horses remaining in after that date must pay the subscription of 1 Oso vs on a day to be named shortly before the race. All forfeits go to make up or increase the stake. THE 19th ROYAL STAKES, 1913-14, for now Yearlings, of 750sovs; second horse to receive 125sovs, and third horse 75sovs out of the stake. For two, three and four-year-olds. Weight - for - age. Two - year - olds, 6.12; three-vear-olds, 8.6; four-year-olds, 9.0. Winner after August Ist, 1913, of any race or races collectively of the value of 250sovs, 31b; of 500sovs, 51b; of 750sovs, 71b; of lOOOsovs, 101 b extra. Maiden four-year-olds at time of starting allowed 141 b; three-year-olds, 101 b; two-vear-olds, 71b. By subscription of Ssovs each, unless forfeit of lsov is declared and paid by 9 p.m. on General Entry Day, Summer Meeting, 1913-14. All horses remaining in after that date must pay their total subscription of Bsovs on a dav to be named shortly before the race. Should there be any surplus arising from the subscriptions, it will be given to the race. Entries close for now yearlings by 9 p.m. on Friday, 6th September, 1912.
