Lie proved himself a champion in each of the six seasons he raced, retains all liis courage, and lie has probably the cleanest set of legs in New Zea.and to-day. Pie won three Jubliee Cups, two Electric Plates, two C.J.C. Cnallenges, two North Island Challenges, three Jackson Stakes, the Juvenile Plate, Middle Park Plate (an exceptionally brilliant performance—Machine Gun, 2yrs, had the maiden allowance, and carried 7.2, Achilles, 3yrs, with full Penalties, carried 9.10).
