Some plays have taken months and some years to write. Mr Mullarkey’s play, “For Homestead and Honour,” was started and finished in a fortnight. “There is nothing remarkableabout this feat,”- says the author, modestly, “because I feel that being full, of intense admiration for the subject, as I was, it only required the proper employment of words to enable the theme of scouting for defence to develop itself.” There is no end to the subject matter in the Boy Scout movement, and if properly handled it is bound to appeal to the finest feelings of the people.
