Penalties.—Flat Races—The winner of any flat race after the declaration of weights to carry a penalty of 101 b, and every additional race a further penalty of 61b. Horses handicapped at 8.10 or over, to carry only half of the above penalty. (Applies to the Whangarei meeting only.) The winner of any race of £4O or upward after. declaration of weights may be re-handicapped. NOTE.—'Races First Day, Nos. 1. 4,6, and Second Day, Nos. 1,4, 7 are open only to horses that have been owned and trained .continuously in any County north of the Waitemata County three months prior to date of entry.
