THE OPERA HOUSE.

CLLER’S VAUDEVILLE ENTERTAINERS.

Brightness and variety prevail at the Opera House this week, a highly entertaining programme being presented in which a number of new stars shine brightly- The “Three Tit Bits” are a trio of dainty little maids, who sing, dance and perform acrobatic feats with equal talent, their efforts meeting with warm applause. A charming new importation is Nada Moret, who easily establishes her claim to be a first-class entertainer, land is nothing if not versatile. Mabelle, a clevei’ danseuse captivates all by her graceful movements and like her predecessors meets with numerous recalls. A welcome reappearance is made by Martinette and Grossi, who give an unique musical exhibition, extracting melodious tunes from impossible articles. Their “dish” of novelties would be hard to beat. Delavale and -Gilbert established themselves in good favour last week, and in a distinctly smart and humorous turn are adding to their laurels. Sam La Mert is a whistling wonder and is always sure of a hearty reception. The Willis sisters, Lily Vockler, Harry Rochfort, Jessie Lee, Tim Howard, Jim Gaffney, and Norman Mudford contribute their quota to the general brightness. On Monday next (Labour Day), a special matinee will be held, when Haydee’s Marionettes and the Dalafioris will make their first appearance. These are two star items, entertaining to both young and old.
