TIVOLI THEATRE.

One of. the best pictorial programmes ever presented in Auckland is being given at the Tivoli Theatre this week, under the new management. A star item is entitled “Her First appearance,” being an adaptation of Richard Harding Davis’ famous story, and is full of absorbing interest, the thrilling incidents which make up the story being represented faithfully in every detail. The projection is as perfect as the selection of pictures, while a tuneful little orchestra adds to the general enjoyment. Those who have not visited the Tivoli Theatre, whichj by the way, Is at the junction of Grey Lynn and Ponsonby cars, should do so, for they will find the very best samples of cinematographic art presented. There is also a crisp budget of miscellaneous films. ‘‘Always Merry and Bright,” is the Tivoli motto. .
