SECOND DAY, The Canterbury Park Trotting Club’s summer meeting was concluded on Monday in sultry weather, with a. good attendance. Results were as follow:— PROGRESSIVE HANDICAP, two miles.—Onawa, 21sec, 1; Grisette 17sec, 2; Grace Darling 12sec, 3. Fifteen others started. Won by ten lengths. Time, smin 7 2-ssec. LADIES’ BRACELET HANDICAP, one mile and a-half.—Harold Minto, 7sec, 1; Princess Myra, 6sec, 2; The Lark, 9sec, 3. Thirteen horses started. Won by 50 yards. Time, 3min 48 l-ssec. CHAMPION HANDICAP, two miles.— 'Marie Narelle, llsec, 1; Durbar, scratch, 2; Ruby S., llsec, 3. Eight other starters. Won by two lengths. Time, 4min 46 3-ssec.
