Amongst the winning horseman at the Otahuhu Trotting Club meeting, W. Orange came first with three wins, this capable rider and driver scoring with Tableau, Royal Victor, and Santa Claus. S. Hamilton was a close second, he scoring with Lady Park and Lady Wilmington, while he also drove Lady Park when she dead-heated for first place. Cameron was the only other horseman to score more than once, he catching the judge’s eye with Hamapukui (and Goldwoodl Other successful horseman were: —C. Baker, Monotype; J. Bowden, Viscount; J. Knight, Cavalier; R. Hall, Maplewood; Martin, Miss Bell Boy; Coates, Mararoa; Millen, Lady Love (deadheat). In the pony events, Morris rode Maika and Stenning Pairawaatu.
