Note.—The committe reserves the right to revise the stakes in the . following classic events, and the conditions of same prior to closing:—ln the event of any horse ' entered with the Auckland Racing Club in either of the following races, viz., the Great Northern Foal Stakes, 1911-12, the 17th and 18th Royal Stakes, the Great Northern Champagne Stakes, 1912, the Great Northern Guineas, 1912, the 39th Great Northern Derby, 191213, the Great Northern Oaks, 1913, dying before the first forfeit becomes due, the owner shall not be liable for payment of forfeit, provided that he gives notice,and supplies proof of death before the first forfeit becomes due. SUMMER MEETING, 1911-12. GREAT NORTHERN FOAL STAKES, 1911- (for now Yearlings), of lOOOsovs; first horse to receive 600sovs, second horse to receive 200sovs, and third horse lOOsovs out of the stake. The other lOOsovs to go to the breeder of the winner, provided that he be also the nominator. In the event of this condition not being fulfilled, the 100 sovs to go to the first horse. Colts 8.10, geldings 8.7, fillies 8.5. By subscription of lOsovs each, unless forfeit of Isov is declared and paid by 9 p.m. ■ on General Entry Day, Summer Meeting, 1911-12. All horses remaining in after that date must pay the subscription of lOsovs on a day to be named shortly before the race. All forfeits go to make up or increase the stake. Winner after August Ist, 1911, of any race or races collectively of the value of 250sovs 31b, of 500sovs 51b, of 750sovs 71b, of 1000 sovs 101 b extra. Maiden four-year-olds at time of starting allowed 141 b, three-year-olds 101 b, two-year-olds 71b. By subscription of Bsovs each, unless forfeit of Isov is declared and paid by 9 p.m. on General Entry Day, Summer Meeting, 1911-12. All horses remaining l in after that date must pay their total subscription of Bsovs on a day to be named shortly before the race.
