TIVOLI THEATRE.
The new programme of pictures inaugurated at . the Tivoli Theatre on Saturday has attracted good houses during the week, and the entertainment was watched from beginning to end with interest. A film showing glimpses of Indian life is instructive as is also a series of pictures of the Italian navy, which gives one an insight into the daily routine of the Italian sailor. The dramatic films are a good collection, and comprise “The Boy Hero,” “The D’owle ,Sex,” and “Alpine Echo’.’ the latter being beautifully . coloured. The comic pictures are right up to requirements, and cause hearty laughter. Amongst those shown. are. “Under the Mistletoe,” “Uncle Richard,” “Romance of an Umbrella,” ' “Three to Choose From,” and “Foolshead Betrothed.” In addition the series portraying the late King’s Funeral are shown. On Saturday next moving pictures will be laid aside for a time and the Tivoli will be occupied by a company of vaudeville artists, titled “Dane’s Mammoth Minstrels.”
