Just now when interest has been awakened in wrestling matters in New Zealand, and several matches have lately taken place for the New Zealand light and middleweight championships, it is well worth publishing a list of the performances of Louis S. Robertson, ■who justly claims to be the New Zealand light and middleweight champion. ship, and in giving his record we feel certain that we are acceding to the wishes of readers: — “ L. S. Robertson has won the following competitions and matches since he first appeared in the wrestling arena in 1903. Won third prize in the twelve-stone competition held in Edinburgh, September, 1904. On April 15, 1905, he defeated P. W. Mackintosh, of Glasgow, in Town Hall, Cumnock, for the ten-stone championship of Scotland. Won ten-stone competition in Kilmarnock on May 25, 1905, defeating the following men: —J. Brown, Jack Cameron, A. Saxon, J. M'Kenzie.
