ROYAL ALBERT HALL.

PATHE PICTURES. During the holidays the Royal Albert Hall has been packed to the doors by lovers of the living picture form or entertainment. The programme underwent a complete change last evening, when a splendid budget of high-class pictures was presented. The pictures to meet with most favour appeared to be “A Sister’s Devotion,” telling a splendid dramatic story and holding the interest of the audience from beginning to end. Two excellent scenic pictures are shown in “Land of the Midnight Sun” and “ Scenes in Algeria,” wmle “ Queer Pets” is naturally interesting and educating. “ John, the Coachman” is a good dramatic film, and otners to contribute to a first-class programme are “Views in British Columbia,” “Wonderful Specs” (trick) and the comic pictures, “ The Scare urow,” “ The Haunted Hat,” and “ Never Late.” The same programme will be repeated till Wednesday next.
