FIRST DAY, The opening of the-Grey Jockey Club’s meeting was held on Saturday in fine weather. There was a record attendance. and a record amount was passed through the totalisator. Time, Im. 31 4-ss. ELECTRIC HANDICAP. — Glenspring 1, Supplement 2, Divorce 3. Won easily. Time. 50 3-ss. BRUNNER HANDICAP.—De Witte 1, First View 2. The only starters. Time, Im. 30 2-ss. The concluding day of the Greymouth Jockey Club’s summer meeting took place in beautiful weather. The attendance was large, the Hon. R. McKenzie and party being amongst the visitors. The sum of £12,582 passed through the totalisator, as against £10,389 last year, an increase of £2184. The racing was good.
