KAMO RACES.
The Kamo races took place on Saturday. There was a capital attendance. The following- were the results: — HANDICAP HURDLE RACE, one mile and a-half.—Franklin 1. Gipsy Queen and Miss Ida ran off and were disqualified. MAIDEN RACE HANDICAP, Six lurlongs —Miss Hilda 1. Matatua and Melba were disqualified. KAMO HANDICAP, one mile and aquarter.—Luscombe 1, Sapper 2, Denbies 3. ■SETTLERS’ HANDICAP, one mile.— Loch Lea 1, Luros 2, Cakewalk 3. PUBLICANS’ PURSE, six furlongs.— Matatua 1, Discoverer 2, Nervine 3. PONY RACE, five furlongs.—Belle Napier 1, Waiata 2, Miss Ida 3. HACK HANDICAP, seven furlongs.— Belle Napier 1, Denbies 2. Loch Lea 3.
