The Manawatu Racing Club’s summer meeting was concluded on Tuesday in fine weather. There was a large attendance. The total investments on the machine for the meeting were £32,656, against £37,042 last year—a deficiency of £4386. The receipts from bookmakers were, however, greater by £197.
