WANGANUI JOCKEY CLUB.

In another part of this issue will be found advertised the full programme for the Wanganui Jockey Club’s Soring Meeting, which takes place on September 23 and 25. A glance at the events shows them be well endowed with stake money, the total amount of added money to be distributed over the 14 events being £lBBO. Of course, the principal event to be decided is the Wanganui Guineas, for three-year-olds, over a distance of one mile, and for which entries have already closed. The handicap with the most attached to it is the Higgle Handicap, of £250, to be decided on the second day, over a mile and a-quarter. Owners of hacks are well catered for, as also those who have jumpers. Nominations for all events close with the secretary. Mr. Wm. Hall, P.O. Box 15. Wanganui, on Monday, August 30. at 9 p.m.
