THE FROLICS CONCERT COMEDY CO.

This brilliant combination of artists, who are touring New Zealand and Australia under the direction of Max Cohen, of New York, have just finished their North Island dates, playing in Napier and Gisborne on July 30, 31, and August 2 and 3 respectively, after a must successful tour of the Auckland province, Wellington, and Taranaki. The company leaves for the South on August 8, and have booked return dates in the North for October, before proceeding to Australia. Their performance is reminiscent of the Scarlet Troubadours, and is built up purely on the well-known London Follies programme. The Auckland season commences in December next. Mr. Max Cohen will be remembered in connection with the very successful production of the Birch-Humphreys extravaganza, “ Manuella,” in Auckland some months ago, which was staged and performed under his personal direction.
