COUNTRY MATCHES.
At Tuakau the local fifteen defeated the Bombay representatives by 8 points to 3. At Pukekohe the home team scored a victory over the Wairoa fifteen by 3 points to nil. An inter-union match was played at Te Awamutu between Waipa and Hamilton, and resulted in a drawn game, each side scoring three points. The other country fixtures were all postponed on account of the unfavourable weather.
