ROYAL ALBERT HALL.

ALL BLACKS v. KANGAROOS. Despite counter-attractions, the Pathe Pictures at the Royal Albert Hall continue to attract large audiences. The new programme as presented last evening is a splendid one and good houses for the remainder of the week may be assured. The star film on the new programme is en titled “ The All Blacks v. Kangaroos,” and depicts the professional footbail match played between the New Zealanders and Australians in Sydney recently, and which proved to be a very close contest, the issue being in doubt up to within a few minutes of the call of time. The film shows all the chief incidents during the game, and passing rushes, scrums, kicking, etc., are clearly depicted, the players being easily recognisable by those acquainted with them. The picture should be witnessed by all followers of Rugby in Auckland, as there are no less than five prominent local players taking part in the contest. A scenic film showing some beautiful scenery is entitled “The Land of Pharaohs,” while “ William Tell,” “ The Share of the Poor,” “At Night,” and “Little Dog Clipper” are all very fine dramatic films each being well received. There are comic pictures in plenty, and several of those presented are more than funny. Those calling for special mention are “ Skinny’s Finish,” “ A Day of Rest,” and “The Bewitched Drum.”
