THE CAFE’ DE PARIS CHRISTCHURCH.
In the heart of the traffic of the Cathedral city stands the fine buildings known as the Cafe de Paris, yet to the weary traveller or tired citizen it affords a quiet and peaceful haven, for so complete and luxurious are its surroundings, that one is removed from the turmoil of life. From the exquisitely moulded ceilings, artistically carved furniture and statuary, to the bars and sitting rooms, adjoining, the appointments are on a lavish
scale, and at night when the building is ablaze with electric lights, the effect is most striking. The cuisine is a prominent feature of the establishment, the mid-day luncheon being a speciality. The tariff is exceptionally moderate considering all the up to date advantages afforded, and as the entire management is under the personal supervision of Mr. T. A. Clondesley, we can confidently recommend visitors to call at the Cafe de Paris.
