WELLINGTON PONY AND GALLOWAY RACING CLUB.
The programme for the June Meeting of the Wellington Pony and Galloway Club will be found published elsewhere in this issue. The racing is to take place on June 3, on the Club’s course at Miramar, and the events comprising the programme are: June Handicap of 20 sovs., four and a-half furlongs; Maiden Handicap, 20 sovs., four and a-half furlongs; Prince of Wales Handicap, 40 sovs., six furlongs; York Handicap, 20 sovs., four furlongs; Birthday Handicap of 20 sovs., five and a-half furlongs; Vacation Handicap of 25 sovs., four and ahalf furlongs. Nominations for all events close with the secretary, Mr. J. M. Cumming, Box 654, Wellington, on Wednesday next, at 3 p.m. The handicaps will appear on or about Saturday, May 22, and acceptances for the Prince of Wales and Vacation Handicaps close on Wednesday, May 26, at 4 p.m.
