AUCKLAND AMATEUR SWIMMING ASSOCIATION’S CARNIVAL.
The third annual carnival of the Auckland centre of the New Zealand Amateur Swimming Association took place in the Auckland Graving Dock on Saturday before a large attendance. The following were the officials: —Judges, Messrs. H. Frost, C. Weaver, and D. Callinan; timekeepers, Messrs. Ford, Diddams, Meredith, and Denison; starter, Mr. G. Katterns; check starter, Mr. C. O. Hughes; handicappers, Messrs. Stewart and Ward Campbell; hon. secretary, Mr. L. C. Gibbins. The following were the results: — Novice Handicap, 50yds. — First heat: J. A. Tobin, 35., 1; J.
