THE TIVOLI.

WEST’S PICTURES. ft is good news to lovers of cinematography to learn that West’s pictures are not to depart from Auckland, but will instead be shown nightly at the Tivoli Theatre, Newton. This place of amusement has recently been entirely renovated and re-Lghted by electricity, and, as has been recently shown, is admirably suited for the purpose it is intended to put it to. New films are constantly arriving from Paris and elsewhere, and these will be shown as they come to hand,, whue the West collection is one of the best in the world. Last night was the opening under the new management, when a Marathon race was to have been run from Avondale to the Tivoli, but as it occurred after we went to press particulars cannot be given.
