THE ANNUAL TOURNAMENT. The annual tournament of the A.P.B.A. commenced yesterday and will be continued to-day and to-mor-morrow. and brought to a conclusion, if possible, on Saturday. The amended draw is as follows: — PENNANT MATCHES. PONSONBY GREEN. To commence at 8.30 a.m. each day. First round: Auckland v. Ponsonby, Epsom v. Rocky Nook, Devonport v. Grey Lynn, Carlton v. Mount Eden, Onehunga a bye. Second round: Auckland v. Epsom, Devonport v. Rocky Nook, Carlton v. Grey Lynn, Onehunga v. Mount Eden Ponsonby a bye. Third round: Auckland v. Devonport, Ponsonby v. Epsom, Carlton v. Rocky Nook, Onehunga v. Grey Lynn, Mount Eden a bye. Fourth round: Auckland v. Carlton. Ponsonby v. Devonport, Onehunga v. Rocky Nook, Mount Eden v. Grey Lynn, Epsom a bye. Pennant Competition and Pairs. — Play to start at 8.30 a.m. each day. Four games to be played each day . Champion Singles.—Commence on Friday at 1.30. Open Fours. —Commence on the Auckland green at nine a.m. Afternoon tea will be provided on all greens at a charge of 6d. All players on other greens than Auckland and Mount Eden are requested to provide their own lunch. On the two latter, viz., Auckland and Mount Eden, lunch will be provided at a charge of Is 6d. The Auckland Bowilng Club has decided to re-affiliate with the Northern Bowling Association.
