THE TIVOLI THEATRE.

This new place of amusement in Karangahape Road is proving very popular, and there have been good attendances nightly. Some excel 1 ent pictures have been shown, perhaps the best being The Doonas Falls, Fishing in Sweden, Baby’s Playmate, The Hand Cart Race, The Press Gang, The Bully and the Recruit, and A Texan Elopement. Miss Blance Carill (soprano) and Miss Ivy Gilmour (serio and dancer) have also greatly assisted towards the success of the performances. At next Saturday’s matinee a gift will be presented to every child who attends.
