THE NORTH SHORE YACHT RACE.

The North Shore Yacht Club as usual got a good entry for the cruising race to Awaroa Bay (15knots) on Saturday, the event being divided into four classes. The results were as follows: — Class I.—Rangatira, 4h. 56m. 505., 1; Wairere, 4h. 57m. 505., 2; Thistle, sh. 4m. 55., 3; Wairiki, sh. 13m. 155.; Mabel 5h 14m 20s.;Mahaki, 5h 24m. 15s; Rosina, sh. 35m. Alex was not timed. The handicaps do not alter the positions of the first three boats.

Class II. —Ronaki, scratch, sh. Bm. 355.; Geisha, 6m., sh. 11m. 305.; Emerald, scratch, sh. 11m. 405.; Celox, scratch, sh. 12m. 55.; Mystery, 4m. sh. 16m. 15s; Glady, 6m. sh. 21m. 35sec.; Sybil, 3%min., sh. 23m. 10s; Maru, 8%m., sh. 23m. 45.; Ranee, 11m., sh. 24m. 455.; Waitangi, sh. 27m. 555.; Dorie, 7m., sh. 46m. 305.; Rahui, 14m., 6h. om. 15s. On time allowance Ronaki was first, Geisha second, and Emerald third.
