A MAORI TEAM FOR AUSTRALIA.
By the Union liner Moana a Maori team will leave for Sydney on Monday, where a series of matches will be played. The players comprising the team are as follows: — Fullback: Aritaku Wihapi, 12st 121 b (Te Aute College and Tauranga). Fullback and five-eighths: Hoeroa, 12st 71b (Tauranga). Threequarters: Albert Asher, 12st; Nikorima Ratete lOst 101 b (Rotorua) ; Tekupa Pouwhiuwhiu 12st (Tauranga and Rotorua) ; Frank Barclay, Hauaura Pakere, 13st (St. John’s College); Hoane Witeriana, 12st (St. Stephen’s College); Hone Tuki, 13st (Waikato); Nutana Wiki, 12st 121 b (Northern districts) ; Hamner a Tawhai, lOst 51b (Te Aute College and Rotorua).
