THE TAKAPUNA J.C. WINTER MEETING.
The Takapuna Jockey Club will hold their winter meeting on Saturday and Monday, May 23 and 25, and circumstances seem to point to another pleasant meeting at the seaside suburb. Mr. Wynyard has declared the handicaps for the first day’s events, and these appear in another column. The work has been done with care, and a very good list of acceptances should be received. These must be made to the secretary by 9 p.m. to-morrow (Friday).
