AT MONACO.

The annual carnival at Monaco this year was to be held from the Ist to the 12th inst., both inclusive. The English racer Wolseley Siddeley, was expected to render more than a good account of herself, having achieved the excellent speed of 30 knots per hour in a private trial shortly before proceeding to Monaco. This is the best speed yet attained by an English motor launch, and easily beats Damier H.’s previous record of slightly over 25 knots. Wol-seley-Siddeley is equipped with two 200 h.p.
