CAMBRIDGE RUGBY UNION. Mr Abbott was in tne chair at the annual meeting of the Cambridge Rugby Union. . The ba’ance' sheet showed receipts to be 7s 3d and the expenditure left a debit balance of 2 s Bd, but there is a sum of us 6d owing to the union. It was -unanimously resolved to affiliate with the Waikato Rugby Li.?>n, The following officers were elected: — President. Mr E. J. W. Smith ; vice-presi-dents. Messrs R. Fisher, Abbott, C. Boyce, N. Banks, H. Crowther, J. A. Hair, J. Watters, H. W. Mackereth, G.
F. McCullag'h, F. Potts, and A. Underwood ; hon. secretary Mr P. Carr ; treasurer, Mr E. Brocklesby ; Management Committee, Messrs K. Anderson (West), Mullins (East), Edwards (Ohaupo). and rhe secretary and treasurer, these gentlemen being the delegates from clubsMessrs Abbott and McVeagh were elected the remaining members of the committee. The affiliation fee to the union was fixed as follows :—Senior clubs, £2 2s ; junior cubs, £1 is- The old boundaries were abolished and new ones agreed upon. The Management Committee then met and ar- ; ranged the following fixtures : —First Round: May 2 —Wes: v. Ohaupo, at i Cambridge; East a bye. May 9—East v. West, at Cambridge; Ohaupo a bye. i May 13 —East v. Ohaupo. at Ohaupo. ' Messrs McVeagh and Abbot were appoint- i ed delegates to the Waikato union.
