FIRST DAY. The Wai'rarapa R.C. Autumn Meeting was held on Monday in fine weather. The course was in fair order. The totalisator receipts were £8478, as against £6733 last year. Bookmakers’ fees totalled £134 10s, nine bookmakers paying fees of £2O inside and £lO outside, with 10s for clerks.
