THE VICTORIA CRUISING CLUB.
This club completed its programme on Saturday with a series of harbour races. In the first-class race the result was: Why Not (Bm.), 1; Seagull (6m.), 2; Kamo (12min.), 3. Three others competed. The result of the second-class race was Encounter (14m.), 1; Mona (Bm.), 2; Wanderer (scratch), 3. Four others started. In the third-class Fairybell was first, Rawhiti second, Roma third, Hettie fourth. In the fourth-class Doreen was first, and Colleen second. The boats in the fifth class finished as follows: —Success 1, Estrella 2, Mamu 3, Ventura 4, Countess 5. The winners of the differeni class trophies are as follows: —First-class: Why Not, 11 points; second-class, Encounter, 10 points; third class, Rawhiti, 11 points; fourth class, Doreen, 13 points; fifth class, Estrella, 8 points.
