NORTH SHORE DO WELL AGAINST PARNELL.

The eighth round of the District Cup Championship was commenced on Saturday. Considering that the wickets were in good order and the afternoon fine, the batting was particularly bad. Parnell led off against North Shore, but could only make 90, and of these Andrea scored 29 and Forster 20. ~ It was a wretched exhibition of tame cricket. North Shore have lost three wickets for 83 (Dacre 24), so should win easily.
