THE PAPAKURA RACING CLUB.
The annual meeting of the Papakura Racing Club will take place on Saturday, February 29, when a programme of three events will be decided. This will be made up of the Maiden Plate of 15sovs, six furlongs; Flying Stakes of 20sovs, six furlongs; Papakura Cup of 40sovs, one mile; Hack Handicap of 20sovs, four furlongs; Railway Handicap of 25 sovs, six furlongs; Welter Handicap of 20sovs, seven furlongr, This gathering at the old racecourse up the
line is always a pleasant function/ quite a host of people invariably at-; tending from town. Owners intend-' ing to run their horses at the fixture' should make a note that entries close’; with Mr. F. Yonge, the secretary, on Friday, February 14, at nine p.m. 7
