THE NEW ZEALAND AMATEUR CHAMPIONSHIPS.
WELLINGTON THE WINNERS. The N.Z.A.A. Association’s Championships took place on the Basin Reserve, Wellington, on Saturday afternoon. There was a good attendance, the gates realising £lBO, which nowadays must be considered a good total for an amateur athletic meeting. On the whole, the sport was interesting, but nothing at all sensational was accomplished competitors in most cases failing to reach the standard. The results were as follows:— HALF-MILE CHAMPIONSHIP.
