The Kawakawa races were held on Wednesday last In splendid weather, there being a good attendance. Results were as follows:— MAIDEN PLATE.—Miss Rita 1, Denbies 2, Viva 3. KAWAKAWA CUP.—Franklin 1, Sir Gilead 2, Discoverer 3. NORTHERN PLATE.—Viva 1, Neptune 2. RAILWAY PLATE.—Franklin 1, Discoverer 2 STEWARDS’ HANDICAP.—Discoverer 1, Ben Blair 2.
