His welcome was cheery and unaffected, and just what one would expect from a colonial reared in an atmosphere comparatively free from “ side.” Mr. Weiss is powerfully built, of middie age, and a picture of vigorous health. “You want to know something about me?” he said. “ Well, fire away with your questions, and I’ll keep you going.” “ Yes, this is my first tour in Scotland, and I like the country, and you Scotsmen seem to have a lot in common with Australians.
