OPERA HOUSE.
FULLER’S ENTERTAINERS. An overflowing house on Saturday n ght testified eloquently to the popularity of Fuller’s Vaudeville Co. And this cannot be wondered at when we reca'.l the high order of the entertanment placed before the public. Though there were other attractions galore the Fullerian patrons rolled up in huge numbers to show their appreciation of the catering at the Opera House. Clarence Tisdale, American tenor, made his initial bow to Auckland aud ences, and he was accorded a flattering reception. He sang “Wait T.U the Clouds Roll By” very creditably. The ever-green and ponderous Percy was to the fore again, ‘'is time wi.h the added glory of an end-man surrounding him. Mr Denton’s voice is as good as ever, and he keeps that jm-' as well as he keeps his cond'tion, both up to concert pitch. He sang “Oysters” in the first part and was encu ei; and in the second part he sang “Someone Th nks of Someone,” and ' The Songs My Mother Used to Sing.” A-has gave a clever exhib tion of trick skating, and Mr A. L. Cropp sang the “Toreador’s Love Song” well. Mr i Ches er, another first nighter, was imperatively recalled for “I Can’t Make i* Out, Can You?” and Bob Lloyd put in a varied assortment of comics o an exhilarating nature. The Klaers reappeared with their clever trained animals and were well received. Miss H Ida Lane (first appearance) sang “Love Me and - the World is Mine,” charmingly, a remark that applies equally to the turns of Miss Nellie Power and Miss Flo Weston. Keldie and Davis were well received in their song and dance turns, and Miss Beattie MacDonald made a welcome re-appearance. The Warwick bioscope p'ctures were very good.
