Unfavourable weather was experienced for the concluding day of the Otaki Maori race meeting, rain falling throughout the day without intermission. The course was heavy and the enclosures a sea of mud. The attendance was small and the sum of £4950 was passed through the totalisator, making a total of £16,612.
