u ., 4..xunuay evening a ladies’ hoop race took place over a half-mile course, Mrs. Greenbrough winning from Miss Petty. A half-mile boys’ race was won by A. E. Baxton, while a number of other events have dince been run off. The rink is open for three sessions daily, and the attendance has been well maintained.
