WOODVILLE JOCKEY CLUB’S AUTUMN MEETING. FIRST DAY—FEBRUARY 21. The weather was perfect for the first day of the Woodville Jockey Club’s Autumn Meeting- to-day. There was a large attendance. The amount put through the totalisator was £6912, as against £6788 for the corresponding day of last year. SECOND DAY—FEBRUARY 22. The second day’s racing of the Woodville Jockey Club’s Autumn Meeting was very successful in every respect. Several good dividends were paid, and the sum of £6582 passed through the totalisator for the day, making £13,494 for the meeting, which is £137 more than for the corresponding meeting of last year. The results were as follows: —
SETTLERS’ HACK HANDICAP of 50sovs, seven furlongs.—Red Cross 1, Honihumu 2, Moral 3. Scratched: Windy. Red Cross took charge immediately after the start and won easily by a length.
