New Plymouth, August 15. There is very little doing- on the tracks ttroughout the district. Several horses tire being worked in view of the Marton find Rangitikei meetings next month. Considerable interest is being taken in the National Meeting on account of the district being so well represented at the fixture. A betting dispute between a local bookmaker and punter is being freely discussed. The matter mav come before lattersall’s Club to decide the point in dispute.
