OPERA HOUSE.
‘THE ANDERSON COMPANY.
The capable organisation under the management of Mr William Anderson now occupying the Opera House has been meeting with the success it deserves. Crowded houses regularly witness the remarkably fine series of productions, staged and acted with all that completeness and attention to detail which have come to be associated with the name of Anderson. During the week there has been a welcome revival of the domestic drama, “Honour Thy Father, ” with an improved cast. Miss Guildford and Mr Cross, as before, take the leading honours, while the performances- of Messrs Cass, Wilton, Duggan, O’Neill and others are all of exceptional merit. Last night a new piece, “The Death and Glory Boys,” was substituted, and should prove most attractive.
